"City Tour"
On
Saturday, August 4th, 2018 we had tour to Surigao city.
First,
we went to Mosque in Surigao. By going there, we knew how a Muslim lives in
Surigao. We also got information that Eid al-Adha will be on August 21st, 2018. It was different one from Indonesia.
After
that, we went to Luneta park. We found
the statue of the one of heroes of Surigao city
namely Dr. Rizal.
Then,
we went to the market there, and see another icon, which is located on the
beach. There is the writing “I Love
Surigao”.
Of
course, by having this trip I could know more about the Philippines, especially
about the lives of the people here.
“My Special Day”
Today was my special day in
Surigao. Exactly on August 4, 2018 I was on my birthday. For the first time in
my life, I celebrated in in another country. With new families, from Sabang to
Merauke, we gather together with different characters.
My friends here were super good.
They gave me surprised on my birthday. I
was so blessed meeting people like them. They were my second family.
I was so thankful for Allah,
always give me the chance like this so far. Given the opportunity to meet
people who are extraordinarily good, not arrogant, funny, make us forget that
we are in the foreign country, far away from family.
Thankyou SEA MEO, which has given
me the opportunity to enjoy a new experience, at a new age. 20 years that
really impressed me 😊
